Kontra K: Porzellan - The Classic (Collectors Edition / 2 LP + CD) [Blu-ray]

"Porzellan" shows a different side of Kontra K. As the second album from the world of "Porzellan und Eisen," it serves as the counterpart to "Aus der Asche": familiar and new pieces are reinterpreted and transformed into a different sonic world through classical instrumentation.

The title symbolizes fragility. For what we protect on the outside and carry deep within ourselves. To not only describe this aspect but also make it audible, it takes real instruments, real musicians, and arrangements that give the songs space. This creates a special intimacy, depth, and a vulnerability that would otherwise remain hidden.

The exclusive Collector’s Edition combines the album “Porzellan” with personal insights into his world. In addition to the CD, the edition includes a Blu-ray featuring a concert documentary from the Schauspiel Haus Hamburg, as well as the album as a double LP (vinyl). Selected photos and poems offer a unique glimpse into the thoughts and stories behind the music. An exclusive collector’s item for anyone who wants to experience “Porzellan” beyond the songs themselves.
