Fish: 13th Star (Deluxe Edition / 3 CD) [Blu-ray]

Известный певец и музыкант прог рока Fish, бывшей лидер прогрессив-рок-группы Marillion, выпускает в августе 2023 коллекционный бокс своего успешного сольного девятого альбома"13th Star" с ремиксом 2023. Сам альбом был выпущен ограниченным тиражом по почте в сентябре 2007 года и в розницу в феврале 2008 года, и вышел на собственном лейбле Fishа – Chocolate Frog Records.

Подарочная версия альбома 2023 года с ремиксом 2023 года "13th Star", выпущена ограниченным тиражом, поставляется в виде книги в твердом переплете с футляром и содержит 3CD и Blu-Ray.
Альбом был полностью ремикширован оригинальным продюсером Калумом Малкольмом (‘Weltschmerz’ и ‘Feast of Consequences’). CD1 содержит ремикс 2023 года на альбом ‘13th Star’, а CD2 - коллекцию оригинальных демо-версий и концертных акустических записей, включая радиосессию для шоу Боба Харриса на Radio2 в 2007 году и выступление в церкви Святой Марии в Хаддингтоне во время тура Fishheads ClubTour в 2010 году. CD 3 состоит из концертных записей 2007 и 2008 годов. The deluxe limited-edition version of the 2023 remixed ‘13th Star’ album comes in a hardback book with slipcase and contains 3 CD’s and a Blu Ray packed with content.

The album originally released in 2007 has been completely remixed in 2023 by original producer Calum Malcolm (‘Weltschmerz’ and ‘Feast of Consequences’)

At the time ‘13th Star’ was seen as a huge return to form for Fish and acclaimed then as one of his finest works to date. This 2023 edition is a stunning and exciting rework of the original recordings that gives the songs an incredible dynamic new energy and a brand-new lease of life.

CD1 contains the 2023 remix of the ‘13th Star’ album with CD 2 a collection of original demos and live acoustic recordings including a radio session for the Bob Harris show on Radio2 from 2007 and from St Mary’s Church in Haddington on the Fishheads ClubTour in 2010. CD 3 is a made up of live recordings from 2007 and 2008 with new mixes of songs performed on the US ‘Clutching at Stars’ tour at Nearfest and on the European tour supporting the ‘13th Star’ album.

The Blu Ray disc has Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes of the album by Avril Mackintosh and Andy Bradfield (Marillion remasters of ‘Clutching at Straws’ and ‘Fugazi’) using Calum Malcolm’s new reworkings, as well as the original 2008 album stereo mix.

It also features a new 2 hour documentary, ‘The Search for the 13th Star’, by David Barras and Scott Mackay (Strangeboat) with lengthy interviews with Fish, Steve Vantsis and Mark Wilkinson and previously unseen footage from the studio in 2007 as well as the original ‘Making of…’ documentary from 2008.
